Product Overview
The TY-RAP Self-Locking Cable Tie is made from a thermoplastic material. The cable tie has an elastic tape section with teeth that engage with a pawl in the head to form a ratchet so that as the free end is pulled the cable tie tightens and cannot unfasten. The cable tie is manufactured using high precision techniques which helps to achieve a good surface finish as well as good product consistency. The high-grade plastic material used for the self-locking cable tie has good mechanical properties like tensile strength, hardness and wear resistance which ensures a long-life span for the part. The thermoplastic material also helps to make the self-locking cable tie light in weight without compromising on the integral strength of the part. The self-locking cable tie is free from any burrs and sharp edges which enhances the safety aspect of the component. The self-locking cable tie possesses a high strength to weight ratio.
