Product Overview
the External Radial Retaining Ring is used in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) machines. An E-Ring wraps around the shaft with tooth like grip points that yield greater thrust load ratings and typically dig into deeper grooves than a wire ring. the crescent shape creates a low-profile shoulder for applications where clearance is at a minimum. The ring is assembled radially because of the crescent external retaining ring has a tapered section. It is installed radially onto a shaft using an applicator. Radial assembly rings enable quicker installation than axially installed rings, but may require deeper grooves. The passivated finish enhances its natural corrosion resistant property. Clips use tapered sections that tend to maintain circularity or possess tooth-like grip points. This material gives high strength and hardness and maintains its corrosion resistance even at high temperatures. Beryllium copper is used for their good electrical and thermal conductivity. It can withstand continuous wear and tear or decay without undergoing any loss in strength. It can perform over a long period without any significant deterioration.
